AR series Roots blowers are optimized from the formal introduced R series standard Roots blowers. With a variety of seal structure,they can deliver various mediums of gases, and boost gases, so to meet various industry requirements.

Volume
The volume Qs is the inlet volume at the standard inlet conditions(temperature 20℃,absolute pressure 101.325kPa,relative humidity 50%)when medium is the air. It should be converted at non-standard inlet conditions.
Conversion of volume
When the inlet volume is shown with the volume Qn at reference conditions(temperature 0℃,absolute pressure 101.325kPa), it should be converted to the volume Qs at the standard inlet Conditions by means of the following formula,then to search performance table.(Usually don't consider humidity)
Qs=1.0733Qn
When there is much difference between the inlet temperature and 20℃,or if the molecular weight of intake gases obviously deviates from the molecular weight of air 9,the practical inlet volume Qs is caluclated by means of the following fomula:
Qb=(Qth-Qsa)×[(273+ts)/(273+20)×29/M]1/2
Qs=Qth-Qb
in formula:Qb-internal leakage(m3/min)when inlet temperature is ts℃,and the molecular weight is M.
Qth-Theoretical volume(m3/min),which is searched from performance table after primary type selection according to inlet volume at pressure rise of request.
Qsa-Practical volume(m3/min)at standard inlet conditions ,i.e.the volume shown at performance table after primary type selection.

9.8kPa=0.1kgf/cm2=1000mmH2O=73.5mmHg=98mbar=0.0967atm=1.4225psi
Conversion for the unit of volume
1m3/min=60m3/h=16.667 L/S=35.714CFM
Performance data listed in the table is suitable for the medium of the air;the volume should be converted at other mediums or different inlet conditions.
